Method 1 – Record on Snapchat by Swipping the Capture Button
Step 1 – Launch the Snapchat App on your Device
Step 2 – Now open the App and make sure you’re on the camera screen.
Step 3 – To Activate Hand free recording simply hold the capture Button and swipe left that is towards the lock icon.
Step 4 – As soon as you swipe toward the Lock icon the Hands-free recording starts. You can confirm it by seeing the Snapchat logo at the top of your Screen. The logo starts blinking when the recording starts.
Now to stop the video simply click on the yellow button. Now you can save or share the video you have recorded.
Method 2 – Hands-free Record on Snapchat using Directors Mode
Step 1 – Open Snapchat on your device and make sure you’re on the camera screen.
Step 2 – Click on the Plus icon appearing towards your right.
Step 3 – Look for the Director Mode option from the list. Click on the Director Mode.
Step 4 – Now Locate the capture button at the bottom center of the screen. Tap the Capture Button.
Step 5 – Once you’ve tapped the capture button The video starts Recording hands-free. The recording will continue until you manually stop it.
Step 6 – To stop recording, tap the red record button again. Now you can preview the video by clicking on the Preview button toward the bottom right corner of your screen.

Method 3 – Record on Snapchat Using a Timer
Step 1 – Open Snapchat on your device and make sure you’re on the camera screen.
Step 2 – Click on the Plus icon appearing towards your right.
Step 3 – Look for the Timer option from the list. Click on the Timer.

Step 5 – Once open the desirable pic Click on the three dots appearing at the top right corner.
Step 6 – Now look for the Export or share media Option from the list. And click on the share icon beside the Share option.
Step 7 – Now the page appears where you can see different social media icons where you can directly share the selected Snapchat media. You can also copy the link of your Snap my clicking on the first option which is the pin icon.
Step 8 – If your wish to download the media and save it in your gallery then Look for the Download icon in the list. Mostly it is the second last option in the list. Click on the download icon and the snap will be saved on your device.
