How to Soft Reset HP printer

After Downloading and installing the app on your device follow the steps below:
Step 1- Connect the printer and computer to the same Wifi network and add the printer to your HP smart App.
Step 2 – Open the HP smart app on your device and Tap the printer icon on the top to open the printer Settings.
Step 3 – Scroll down to find the advanced option and click on the Advanced Settings option from the list. This will redirect you to the printer EWS page.
Step 4 – From the EWS page open the menu bar and go to the System or Settings tab.
Step 5 – Now you will be redirected to the page where you need to enter the printer PIN or Password. You can easily find the pin on the label which is located inside the cartridge access area or printer door.
Note for HP LaserJet printers,
Enter admin for the username (HP LaserJets only), enter the PIN from the printer label, and then click Submit.

Step 1- Click on the button below to open the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS).

Turn the printer off>>> Unplug the power cord >>>Wait for 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord >>> Turn the printer on, and then press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds.The Attention light lights >>> Release the Resume button >>> The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the printer restores to factory defaults.
For HP Ink Tank 500, 510, Plus 550 printers
On the control panel, press and hold the Power button >>> Without releasing the Power button >>> Press and hold the Black Copy and Resume buttons until a spinning wheel animation displays on the control panel.
After about 20 seconds, your printer automatically restarts.
For HP Smart Tank 210, 520, 540, 580, 5100 printers
Step 1 – Turn off the printer.
Step 2 – Depending on your printer, use the control panel buttons to start the factory restore.
Smart Tank 210 printers: Press and hold the Resume and Information buttons at the same time.
Smart Tank 520, 540, 580, 5100 printers: Press and hold the Resume and Black Copy buttons at the same time.
Step 3 – Without releasing the buttons, turn on the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds, and then release the buttons.
