Daddy Dearest 

The main antagonist of the story. Daddy Dearest, the father of Girlfriend is the first character you will duel against in the game. By any means, he will not let you be with the love of your life, Girlfriend. You will come across Daddy Dearest in the first week of the game itself. Once you beat him, he becomes more bitter and assigns Pico to duel with you and beat you. Even if Daddy Dearest is focused on defeating Boyfriend, your character, the Boyfriend, will always find a way to win against his plots.

Mommy Mearest 

Mommy Mearest is Girlfriend’s mother. Just like your beloved, she is also from the demon species. Moreover, she is regarded as the biggest contemporary pop star. When you reach week 4, you will come across Mommy Mearest as she decides to support her husband’s mission. At that point, she will appear before you along with her bodyguards. However, like every other opponent, she will also fail to achieve her objective of beating you- the Boyfriend.

Skid and Pump 

Skid and Pump are both human children of 8 and 7 years old respectively. Those of you who are familiar with Mr. Pelo’s web series called Spooky Month would know that they first featured in them. Your character, Boyfriend will face Skid and Pump in a duel in the Week 2 of the game. They may appear childish to you because of their Halloween costumes. However, they are much more dangerous than they look. So, be wary!

Pico 

You will come across Pico in the Week 3 of the game. Because Daddy Dearest hires him to beat Boyfriend once you beat Daddy himself. Pico is a human and is 20 years of age. Also, it is told that once upon a time, he was the partner of a Boyfriend. This is why, instead of killing you, he decides to challenge you to a rap battle. Some say, that Pico has an extraordinary brain and an IQ of 127.

Senpai 

Like Pico and Boyfriend, Senpai also is a human. He is 18 and has a duel with Boyfriend in the Week 6 of the game. You will find it funny that Senpai is forced to be stuck in a dating simulator by Daddy Dearest from which he is unable to escape. This is why you see him as a pixelated figure. Just like Pico, he doesn’t exactly want to fight you, the Boyfriend. However, it is Daddy Dearest who makes Senpai fight with you. And, when you find him again, he will die to become the character called Spirit.

Spirit 

Spirit is Senpai reincarnated. You will see him in Week 6, once you defeat Senpai. Spirit’s main objective is to find a body that it could take over. So that, it can take vengeance on Daddy Dearest.

Tankman 

Tankman appears in week 7 of the Friday Night Funkin’. He is 30 and has decided to show his might by challenging to defeat boyfriend to put a rest to his streak of victory. Apart from being highly skilled and strong, Tankman also has numerous Tankmen that he can call upon to accompany him in his fight.
