In the previous article we have discussed how to make shopping receipts using visual basic .NET (VB.NET) language. But the shopping receipt is still simple, it is necessary to add a logo / image to be more professional.
In this article will be explained how to include the logo / image on the shopping receipt that can be printed using a printer.
Guide to Inserting Images on Receipt Using VB.NET
1) Prepare the image, it is highly recommended to use PNG with a transparent background.
2) Name the image file with “logo“.
3) Open your project and go to “Project > Project Name Properties“.
4) Click “Resources > Change from Strings to Images on top”.
5) Add the logo file.
6) Go to your code, and replace with this. You can also need 1 button again with the name is “BTREFRESH” for create new transaction.
