In the previous project on making shopping receipts using Visual Basic (VB.NET) we have succeeded in inserting logos / images into shopping receipts. In this article will be explained how to add detail to the receipt header, and also separate the original price and the total price on the item that has been purchased.
The purpose of providing details of this header is to clarify the description on the receipt, so that it will make it easier for the client / customer in calculating the goods that have been purchased.
The following is a script making header details while separating the original price and the total price.
Add Header Details to a Receipt
1) The item as before is, 1 of DataGridView with the name DataGridView1, 2 Buttons, under the names BTPRINT and BTREFRESH.
2) Clean the code and copy paste the code below.
Imports System.Drawing.Printing
Public Class Form1
Dim WithEvents PD As New PrintDocument
Dim PPD As New PrintPreviewDialog
Dim longpaper As Integer
Sub changelongpaper()
Dim rowcount As Integer

rowcount = DataGridView1.Rows.Count
longpaper = rowcount * 15
longpaper = longpaper + 200
End Sub
Private Sub BTPRINT_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles BTPRINT.Click
changelongpaper()
